Pact of Secrecy

"I, [name],  in the presence of the Covenant of Mysteries conservators, do hereby swear upon the divine spark within me, and to uphold the Pact of Secrecy.

I pledge to keep the existence and use of magic a secret from those who lack the divine spark. I will use my knowledge and abilities only for the betterment of my fellow magic users and the preservation of the divine mysteries.

I will not reveal the secrets of magic to those who would seek to harm or exploit it, nor will I use my powers for personal gain or to interfere with the lives of non-magic users. 

I will remain vigilant against those who would seek to expose or destroy magic. I will defend the Covenant of Mysteries and its members against any oathbreakers who would threaten it.

I understand crimes of revelation that result in the breaking of this oath carry severe consequences. Including expulsion from the covenant, memory seizure, and forfeiture. Therefore, I swear to keep the Pact of Secrecy for as long as I live, and to honor the trust and responsibility that comes with the divine spark."
